Dear friends
The Lenten season begins next week on Wednesday, the 14th of February. As you journey through this special season of preparation for Easter, we would like to offer you two spaces in which to explore the presence of God in the wilderness and the wideness of life:
1. a six-week guided reading of the Gospel of Mark, which you can print out here and use in various ways as an individual or group or engage with on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Saltbushcommunity)
2. our four-week Lenten Cafe series, which will take place on Wednesday evenings in March with a focus on the Old Testament covenants with Noah, Moses, Abraham and Jeremiah that lead to the new covenant we have in Christ. Please keep an eye out for an email containing the Zoom link or, if you are not yet on our mailing list, send us a message through our contact page.
We pray that this sacred time may offer you moments of affirmation and of challenge as, led by the Spirit and in the company of the saints, you seek to walk closely with Christ in the ways of his kingdom and, indeed, the way of the cross.
