The first event in the Gospel of Mark after Jesus calls his disciples – Jesus goes down to the village of Capernaum and into the Synagogue on the Sabbath. This passage marks the start of the ministry of Jesus which is always surrounded by confrontation and challenge. We too are invited into this challenge to ponder the God of change.
