On this fourth week in Lent we continue our journey towards the cross. Even in John’s opening chapters he is shaping the conversations around Jesus’ death on the cross and so we come to his conversation at night with Nicodemus. As we hear, Nicodemus hears the conversation in one way while Jesus is inviting him, and us, into a deeper Spirit life.
