Jesus tells a parable about a landowner who hires workers for his vineyard. Unexpectedly workers are hired all during the day at different times but paid exactly the same wage – a living wage. Perhaps this parable is about inviting us to act with generosity and inclusion out of our wealth and discovering not just working in the vineyard but making it a way of being in the world.
