Pentecost 21 – Possessed by possessions – Mark 10: 17-31

The passage of Jesus’ encounter with a wealthy man takes us to a confronting place of reality, in any generation, of the struggle to be in relationship with God.  The struggle in this passage is that we are as much possessed by our possessions as we possess them and they are a separator in our relationships; with each other and with God.
